This is an ongoing field experiment to see how long a person can reasonably expect the Jollytank bag to hold gasoline under hostile, outdoor conditions.
This bag was partially filled with fuel on January 3, 2012. It is hanging outside with full exposure to temps from sub-zero to warm sunny days in the mid-50s. The bag is still pliable with no sign of deterioration, cracking or leaking. Watch this section for updates!
UPDATE: The bag of gas was finally taken down and the gas was used, with no noticeable disentigration to either bag or gas, after approximately 6 weeks. A longer field test may be performed in the future.
Please note that we still do NOT recommend the JollyTank for long-term fuel storage use. It should be discarded after fuel-transfer. If used for other, non-volatile liquids, it may be reused many times.
